300 Friends

A play by Sarah Elaine Stewart.

When I grow up I want to be a princess who falls in love

And sleeps on a bed of feathers and butterflies

And be a ballerina and sing songs

And be a mermaid with long blond hair

And leave a trail of breadcrumbs so I never get lost

And be like everyone else

You. Will. Be. Happy.

Tales from a generation on the brink of responsibility.

A few rehearsal moments from the final week

300 Friends opens tomorrow, 7.15 at The Albany.

Final Week

This time next week, the final performance will be over, and on Monday, we get into the theatre to start all of the technical rehearsals. My car is currently the play storage room…housing everything from rotting cardboard fruit boxes to Bernard the bear and a copy of ‘Men are from Mars…’ Thought it would be a good time to thank everyone who has helped us so so much through the last few months, with creative input, fundraising, support and cups of tea. A huge thank you. Really hope you can make it and you enjoy and engage with the play..would love your feedback so do get in touch…

Book your tickets now! Friday Performance almost sold out

It looks like the Friday night performance has now very nearly sold out! So if you haven’t booked your ticket yet, you need to phone the Albany now on 0208 692 4446 as there may be a few left from them.

There are still tickets for Wednesday and Thursday evening so if there’s a larger group of you, it’s best to book tickets for these nights.

Good luck!

This was a sketch that Susan did after a brainstorming session with a few members of the crew.
The purpose of the session was to generate ideas on how to incorporate one of the focal points in the set within the recurring themes of the play.
